The Sungoddess Daybed is Egg Designs’ homage to elemental form and leisure. Its silhouette—an elegant arc of African mahogany timber—evokes the gentle curve of a crescent moon or the hull of a boat, inviting rest and reflection. Suspended above this wooden base is a steel mesh platform, offering both strength and visual lightness. A tailored linen and leather cushion rests atop, adding comfort without compromising the piece's minimalist integrity.

This modern, Brutalist inspired daybed is set on a hand carved hardwood base which is burnished and polished black. The base supports a steel section which has a hair on hide, removable cushion. The hide is a tan Nguni cow skin, the Nguni cow is a prized cow in the Royal families of KZN where the daybed is made.
The Blessing daybed is good for use indoors and would complement any style of interior from Modern, Mid Century modern, Minimal to Brutalist. It also fits very well into interiors that favor natural material, where a Wabi Sabi aesthetic is desired.
