About the Item
A beautifully crafted Finnish Art Deco daybed from the 1920s, attributed to an unknown designer, showcasing exceptional flame birch throughout. The sculptural sleigh-form ends highlight the refined craftsmanship and elegant proportions characteristic of the early Nordic Art Deco era. The original woven jute webbing remains intact, offering an authentic foundation for upholstery.
Note: The daybed comes without a mattress, allowing the buyer to create a custom-fit solution.

Width 199 cm (78.3”), depth 88 cm (34.6”), height 67 cm (26.4”), seat height 30 cm (11.8”).
Condition
Very good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. The flame birch veneer displays a rich patina and striking grain figure. Minor marks, seams, and surface wear as expected for its age. Original jute webbing is present; reinforcement or replacement may be desired depending on intended use.
