About the Item

A wonderfully worn circa 1860 Napoleon lll cast iron daybed, with a intricate floral scroll work design with a nod to the rococo style Original green paint, faded, chipped, scratched consistent with age and truly beautiful. New modern slats have replaced the flimsy metal webbing, the daybed also has a brand new and bespoke dusty pink linen mattress. The cushions are not included in the sale One elderly section of damage as shown within the photos, to the back section side to the left. A section of the decorative work is missing and a small repair. The bed is still perfectly sound and strong and fit for purpose. The bed dismantles into four sections for easy transport, castors move freely. Measures: 81cm in Depth 95cm in Height 188cm in Length.
