About the Item

A timeless Mid Century Italian daybed with a curved bamboo and cane frame. This piece has a mattress cushion which was freshly reupholstered in a handsome gray woven boucle fabric with single welt detailing. The mattress is attached to the frame with white fabric support straps. Unmarked. Sourced in Italy, 1970s. Two Available; Priced Individually. Great vintage condition. Very minor wear to the bamboo frames; some texture and color variation is inherent to this natural material. The mattress was freshly reupholstered in a handsome gray woven boucle fabric with single welt detailing. The mattress is not removable; it is affixed to the base with fabric straps, which were professionally installed to reinforce the daybed. Fabric samples available upon request.
