About the Item
An exceptional fully reclinable brass studded daybed in a rich brown cognac leather.
The daybed has two extendable arms, with four adjustable gradients for each arm. The daybed can be placed into a fully flat position for comfort with semi circular arch arms.
The decision was made to keep and restore the original horse hair squab and end cushions with piping, and upholstering all with forest green luxury velvet.
The daybed has been completely restored internally and rebuilt with original tilt mechanisms, brackets, and recliners.
The leather has been cleaned and conditioned to highlight its original rich colour and patination, with wear consummate with age and use.
A rare and timeless classic ready for everyday use.
