A beautiful pair of daybeds in woven rattan and bent malacca with orange velvet upholstery, Italian manufacture, 1960s - sold individually
Aesthetically pleasing and evocative of summer dreams, rattan furniture lends itself perfectly to interior decoration thanks to its lightweight and informal spirit. Each daybed in this pair stands out for the fine weave of the backrests, which harmoniously combines with the soft, upholstered sections. The fabric is a satin velvet in a gentle orange tone, perfectly in line with the period and style.
The design and construction of these pieces are equally engaging. The malacca, which supports the structure, gracefully bends into shape, creating an effortlessly elegant silhouette, while the delicately crafted backrests highlight the artisanal quality of the craftsmanship.
