About the Item
Set of 4 original Danish 1970s Brutalist chairs by Henning Kjærnulf for EG Møbler.
The chairs are in solid patinated oak with original upholstery retained, in good vintage condition.
The chairs by some named the "Odin chairs" after the main viking god Odin are among the Henning Kjærnulf designs inspired by the old viking mythology in shape and carved decorations and are a good example of Henning Kjærnulf’s brutalist style with his preference for raw and pure woods such as oak - a style Henning Kjærnulf used for many of his 1970s designs.
The chairs have been checked and cleaned by our in house cabinetmakers to ensure that they have no structural issues and still have a nice warm patina from a long life and are in good vintage condition.
The upholstery are in good vintage condition and new foam would add to the comfort of the chairs. Feel free to ask for a quote for customized repholstery of the chairs by our experiensed upholsteres.
