About the Item
We are very pleased to offer a regal set of six dining chairs, circa the 1980s. The chairs' square back design showcases an elegant geometry and clean lines that give off an air of sophistication and refinement. Crafted with solid wood frames, the chairs are finished in a satin black lacquer, adding a touch of luxury, and highlighting their exquisite craftsmanship. A prominent feature is their saber back legs, a unique furniture leg style that gracefully curves outward, drawing inspiration from the ancient Greek klismos chair design. The legs not only add visual appeal but also provide sturdy support to the chairs; additionally, the padded arms contribute to their comfort, allowing you to sit back and relax for extended periods, whether you're using them for dining or lounging. These chairs would look fabulous in either textured off-white linen upholstery or in a patterned fabric. The juxtaposition of the dark undertone details against any upholstery will create a stunning contrast, further accentuating the chairs' elegance. The current upholstery showcases some stains; thus, new upholstery is recommended. The frames exhibit minimal blemishes in the lacquer as expected with their age; however, they are in good condition and preserve their fabulous appearance. Please refer to the attached pictures.
