About the Item
Set of six Art Deco chairs in black lacquered wood with sharply faceted backs and zebra-patterned seats. The design shows strong affinity with Jean Dunand’s sculptural lacquer work from the 1920s. While unsigned and unstamped, the confident execution and angular form suggest a high level of craftsmanship. The upholstery shows attractive wear consistent with age.
