Wonderfully naturalistic looking dining chair made in Belgium in the 1960s. This chair is executed in oak which has gained a rich patina over time and a seat of straw. The chairs have a very solid and geometrical backrest. The chair is both functional and clear in its design, as is common for Belgian furniture design from the mid century time period. The frame embodies a construction of sharp horizontal and vertical lines. The chair conceals an evolved rustic character with great quality of elegance.
