About the Item
This chair evokes a feeling of solidity, weight and forward movement. Notable features are the "negative back" where the backrest appears to float. Ergonomically-friendly features including hand-shaped back, arms and scooped seat. Each piece is unique due to the shaping process. Resting on a hand-blackened steel frame the piece is finished with oil to achieve its rich texture. Solid walnut or Shou-sugi-ban Ash (Ash that has been charred by flame to achieve unique texture) are notable options.
This is a bespoke piece, custom dimensions, materials, colors and finishes (both interior and exterior) can be accommodated. Please inquire for pricing.
