Circa 1795 Sheraton design set of 8 dining chairs, English. Mahogany. Of the highest quality with graceful turned, tapered legs, reeded stiles, reeded framing of crest rails of the elegant carved medial back rails with acanthus carved oval. The arm chairs utilize the reeding down the entire graceful form, ending at the vasiform arm supports. Remarkable color apparently original finish. Found in recently recovered upholstery. Crest rail of one arm chair broken restored. Arms: 22" x 21" x 34" h. Sides: 19.25" x 19.25" x 34" h. We are a family business that has been a major source for the selective buyer for over 90 years.
