About the Item

The Isabella dining chair is one of our signature chairs, as highly sought after today as when it was first introduced. This design has been re-imagined from its first conception, and is now even more luxurious. Both the seat and back are fully upholstered and supported by our solid wood frames. The back is curved and individually fluted to cradle and support the user. The Isabella Dining Chair is the perfect choice for intimate dining, elegant entertaining or as a statement study chair. The Isabella Dining Chair is shown here upholstered in Melton Wool with legs in black flat waxed walnut. Construction: solid walnut legs, with a hardwood and birch plywood frame, featuring a pocket sprung seat and an individually fluted back. The Isabella dining chair has also achieved British Standard EN 16139: 2013 Test Level 2. Each Stuart Scott piece is built by hand in our workshop in Wiltshire, England. Nothing is mass-produced. This ensures complete attention to detail, structural integrity and sheer build quality. We never compromise. When we finish each piece, it is signed and numbered: a unique handmade masterpiece.
