About the Item

A set of seven dining chairs from the French Charles X period. Made of Bird-eye maple wood. These antique chairs have an elegant design. The curved saber legs gives the chairs a nice appearance. The chairs are constructively sturdy. The seats of the chairs need to be reupholstered. Now there are basic coverings around the original wooden framework. The banded backrest gives a comfortable seating. Made in France, circa 1825-1830. The wood has a beautiful honey-like color, with a nice depth in the wood grain. The chairs have an antique appearance with lively patina, but are not damaged, only some traces of use as shown in the pictures. Some old woodworm holes, absolutely no active woodworm in this furniture, it has been treated with oil.
