An absolutely majestic set of twelve (12) custom made palm frond style dining chairs, circa 1950. Exceptionally conceived and crafted rattan and hardwood construction with a magnificent back detail. Stout, rigid, comfortable and built for heavy regular use. These pieces were likely commissioned for an incredible hotel or resort. Unique breathtaking art designed to anchor an important dining room. The unmistakable look of pre-Castro Cuba. Excellent Restored Condition. The chairs have been professionally cleaned and re-lacquered; the finish radiates a stunning warmth, depth and luster. The rattan has aged to absolute perfection. All cane accent detail is intact and complete. Expert custom upholstery in a stunning neutral Romo fabric. The chairs are 26 inches at the widest point of the back. The width noted is per the seat. The price listed is for the set of twelve (12) chairs. Expert custom upholstery service is available.
