About the Item

A set of very well made and solid feeling Shield Back dining chairs with mahogany frames and custom upholstery. The frames have a graceful back splat with a feather crest and side tassels and swags, tapering legs and cross stretcher. The seats are fixed and are upholstered in a refined raised chevron pattern in woven Silver weave on a soft Salmon Pink background. The set is quite comfortable. Comprised of 1 armchair and 6 side chairs. Dimensions: Armchair: 40” high by 23.5” wide by 20.25” deep. Seat height 19”. Arm height 27.5”. Side Chair: 39.25” high by 20.5” wide by 19.5” deep. Seat height 19”. Condition: Please see detail photos. Various acceptable signs of age include slight polished wear to the frames as well as some nicks to the legs and a few spots to the fabric which do not detract from the very fine presentation.
