About the Item
Set of four dining chairs, leatherette, oak, brass, France, 1940s
The strong, elegant form of the geometrical backrest with spindles, all executed in the finest oak is absolutely striking. Lightness is created through the slim proportions of the frame. Together with red leatherette with admirable patina this set of dining chairs is visually striking. A nice decorative touch are the brass rivets on the side of each seating and highlight the Art Deco character of the chairs.
Please note that we advise reupholstery before use. This item contains some threadbare upholstery with wear and stains. The foam needs to be renewed. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece contains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.

This set of four Italian dining chairs was designed by Giuseppe Davanzo in the 1960s. On an ash frame rest the round seat and backrest.
