About the Item

Side chair, beech, vinyl, France, 1960s This dining chair is characterized by a sculptural construction featuring sleek lines and geometrical shapes. The seating area and backrest are executed in a peculiar material called vinyl that replicates reed and adds a visual adornment to the design. The backrest is accompanied with decorative nails that hold the vinyl into the wood, giving the chair a sturdy touch. A nice patina is visible on the wood, which highlights the wonderful lines and curves. Kindly note that the chair is in good, used condition with signs of age and use. Reupholstery is possible before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer.
