An exquisite set of early 20th-century French dining chairs in the Louis XVI style, sourced from Provence, France. This set includes six side chairs and two armchairs, all meticulously hand-crafted from solid wood with elegant oval-shaped medallion back frames. Finished in a creamy antique white paint, the chairs feature a naturally aged, crackled patina with characterful distressed areas. They have been structurally inspected and reinforced to ensure stability for everyday use. The original striped blue velvet upholstery is in excellent condition, cleanly finished with antique brass nailhead trim, adding to their refined charm. Gracefully tapered and fluted legs, ending in classic toupie feet, embody the Louis XVI aesthetic, while intricately carved rosettes at the front corners highlight exceptional craftsmanship.
