Set di quattro sedie modello Cassiopea, disegnato da Gae Aulenti per Elam, Meda. Italia 1976 Queste sedie hanno una struttura in tubolare d'acciaio cromato e seduta e schienale in cuoio di colore nero Sono vintage, quindi possono presentare lievi tracce d'uso, ma possono essere considerate in ottime condizioni originali e pronte a diventare un pezzo di casa. Gae Aulenti nei primi anni della sua carriera (1955-1965) lavora all'interno della redazione di “Casabella-Continuità”, sotto la direzione di Ernesto Nathan Rogers. In questo primo periodo Gae Aulenti disegna per Poltronova la sedia a dondolo Sgargul (1962), ispirandosi alla poltrona basculante n. 1 di Thonet, prodotta esattamente 100 anni prima, e le sedie da giardino Locus Solus (1964), oggi rieditate da Exteta. Il suo interesse per il design industriale la porta a collaborare con le più importanti aziende del settore e progettare arredi presto diventati iconici, utilizzando i materiali più diversi: dalla sedia pieghevole April per Zanotta (1964) al tavolo in marmo Jumbo per Knoll (1965), dalla sedia 4794 in poliuretano per Kartell (1974) al Tavolo con ruote per Fontana Arte (1980), ispirato a un carrello industriale in uso nell’azienda e oggi incluso nella collezione di design del MoMA. Gae Aulenti ha collaborato con l'azienda di illuminazione Artemide per la creazione di diverse lampade iconiche. Tra le più famose si trovano le lampade della serie Oracolo e Pileo, disegnate da Aulenti negli anni '60 e '70.
