About the Item

Set of 6 wooden and skai chairs made in Italy in the 1930s. Structure in walnut-stained beech, backrest and seat covered in dark green and ivory skai. All parts are original. The restoration work sought to preserve the original features as much as possible. The wooden structure was repaired (where necessary) and polished; the faux leather covering of the backrests and seats was maintained (some chairs have small defects). The elastic bands of the seats were replaced and the raw upholstery fabric was maintained (only in some cases replaced with a similar one). The padding, where necessary, was reinforced. The design is simple and elegant and recalls similar products by Michele Marelli and Paolo Buffa.
