About the Item

Midcentury set of 4 fibreglass shell dining/armchairs by Maurice Burke for Arkana Furniture GB, circa 1960s. Offered here in original vintage condition. Featuring fibreglass shell seats with streamlined curved arm and backrests. Heavy weighted and powder coated 4 point star solid steel bases. The chairs are equipped with counter-swivel action mechanism. Original but sun faded cushion covers. Very roomy and comfortable chairs. Will complement most modern interiors. In very good vintage condition with signs consistent with age. There are light surface marks to the powder coated steel All swivel mechanism in fine working order. All fibreglass shells without cracks and clean, but shows nice age patina. Cushions and covers intact but could benefit from reupholstery.
