About the Item

This elegant suite of six side chairs was crafted in France, circa 1960. Each generously scaled chair features a tall, arched and pitched back, a wide seat, and tapered, fluted legs joined by a bottom stretcher for added stability. Inspired by Louis XIV style, the chairs are richly upholstered in a vibrant floral embroidered fabric and finished with decorative brass nailhead trim for a refined, tailored look. The solid walnut frames showcase a warm, rich patina, highlighting the graceful curves and classical details of the design. Comfortable, sturdy, and visually striking, these chairs are well-suited for both formal dining rooms and more relaxed traditional interiors. In excellent condition commensurate with age and use.
