About the Item

Mid-Century Modern vintage set of ten vintage dining chairs or armchairs from grey stained beech and blue velvet upholstery Italy 1970s. The grey stained and lacquered beechwood frame shows an upholstery with newly covered sky blue toned velvet fabric and shows very similar features as designs by Tobia Scarpa with his Pigreco Chair or Augusto Savini with his Pamplona Chair. The set of ten dining chairs shows just small differences. The dining chairs features a beautiful curved back and the armrests flow over into the backrest. Through the rounded edges this model spreads a soft and sculptural look. The condition is good. While the beechwood frame shows some signs of age and use like fading, scratches and abrasions, the seats and backrests are new covered with velvet fabric in soft blue tone color. The dining chairs are stable and sturdy. Through the beautiful color combination of blue and grey and the balance from comfort and style these chairs are ideal for a dining space. approx. measures: Width 55 cm Depth 54 cm Height 77.5 cm Seat height 45 cm.
