About the Item

This set of four dining chairs from the '8000 Series' was designed by Rud Thygesen and Johnny Sorensen for Magnus Olesen in 1981. They feature a wonderful curved shape throughout, with the bent birch frame creating a unique flow to each piece. The rounded back rest is wonderfully ergonomic, with the curved lines following the frame in the bent legs and circular seat. The warm tones of the light birch are complemented with the rich royal blue upholstery inlaid within the frame, creating a striking visual contrast. The set of chairs align wonderfully, and the curvature of the frame enables all four to stack perfectly flush upon one another.
