About the Item

A shapely late 18th century George III Heppelwhite shield back carver chairs. Raised on square tapered legs and with elegantly shaped and carved arms. Structurally in good solid order with some historic repairs and possible replacement corner blocks on the seat rails. The show wood has taken a nice colour and patina. For upholstery. As with all our upholstered seating we do offer upholstery should you wish. Seat rail height 42cm
