About the Item

Rare pair of ‚Saffa‘ chairs, originally designed in 1955, they gained recognition at the second exhibition for Swiss women‘s work in 1958. The first version had a woven cane back, which was introduced in upholstered leather in 1970 and produced by Dietiker in Switzerland. The chromed steel frames have been cleaned and polished. Original upholstery with a nice patina. Remains the original manufacturers tag.
