About the Item
Mobil Girgi, set of five dining chairs, walnut, leather, Italy, 1970s
Well-constructed set of dining chairs that is simple yet very strong in lines and proportions. Characteristic is the round backrest that is hold in position by the rear, tapered legs. In absence of decorative details, the design convinces visually through the use of geometric shapes and the transparent construction. The round finishes contribute to the chair's harmonious and fine appearance. The seat and backrest is upholstered in red to brown leather, which blends in with the walnut frame in a subtle manner.
Please note that these chairs are in good, used condition. Some of the leather seats show signs of wear and use and spots. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece contains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
