About the Item

Rare set of six Robert A.M. Stern Architects designed dining chairs from his Bodleian chair series for HBF. Set includes 2 arm chairs #3125-10 , 4 sides chairs #3126-10 in natural cherry hardwood frames, upholstered in Arclecchino check, color 52860 Isabella designed by Kristie Strasen for HBF textiles. Eminent American Architect Robert A.M. Stern's first collection for HBF embodies his contemporary vision of balancing tradition with modernity. The Bodleian collection was inspired by Greek classicism and architecture, the scroll arm, clean seat and back with lone column front legs. Set was ordered in fall of 1994, and is from the original owners estate. In fine condition, only light scuffs. Upholstery and foam are fine. Measures: Side chair 26" D x 22.88 W x 36.75" H Arm height 25.75".
