About the Item

Made in the 20th Century, this set consists of seven chairs. The design of the chairs brings to mind the sleek, elegant lines of Robsjohn-Gibbings's classicism-infused modern furniture. Each chair has a brown-painted frame. While the whole set has a zebra-patterned upholstery, they vary in upholstery material. Four of the chairs has zebra-printed hair-on-hide, while the other three chairs are upholstered in a zebra-printed ultra-suede. The overall construction of the chairs is noteworthy for its flat arms that transition into thin tapered legs. Dimensions of each chair: 21.25 in. width 22.75 in. depth 36.75 in. height 18.5 in. seat height Condition notes: In overall fair condition, with general wear to upholstery and wood, all consistent with the chairs' age and use. These include cracking to the seats of the three of the chairs's upholstery, some staining, and surface scratches to the wood. These chairs are a great candidate for restoration work.
