About the Item

A fine set of four English Regency dining chairs in mahogany with carved bugles resting on back chair rail below the top slat which is line inlaid, with turned front legs and saber rear legs, and upholstered seat, England, circa 1830. Measures: 19" wide x 18.5" deep x 32.5" high (Seat height: 19"). Restored and French-polished, with newly upholstered seat in cream-colored Lee Jofa cotton twill and Kravet Classic tape trim. Refinished. Reupholstered. Repaired: All loose joints have been cleaned, re-glued and clamped. Wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully restored and French-polished, with newly upholstered seat in cream-colored Lee Jofa cotton twill and Kravet Classic Tape trim. Chairs are mechanically sound and ready for use.
