Metal frame, solid wood seat, new black velvet upholstery
H 75 × W 58 × D 72 cm — seat height 48 cm — seat Ø 33 cm
Striking postmodern dining chairs with sculptural half-sphere wooden seats and tubular metal tripod frames. The curved backrest is newly upholstered in glossy black velvet, adding a tactile contrast to the exposed structure. The design plays with balance and geometry, characteristic of Dutch postmodernism in the 1980s.
A rare model by Rob Eckhardt — known for his experimental seating objects merging functionality with visual provocation.
