Graphic and sculptural, this striking set of four Postmodern dining chairs from Italy is strongly influenced by the bold aesthetic of Ettore Sottsass and the Memphis Group. Designed in the 1980s, the chairs feature black enameled metal wire tripod bases, round leather seats, and distinctive ovoid backrests—all key elements of the playful, radical design language that defined the Memphis movement.
The combination of sleek metal frames with richly patinated leather adds both visual contrast and material depth. These vintage Italian chairs make a statement around a dining table or as standalone accent seating.
In good original condition with visible wear throughout, including small dents and surface scratches on the leather and frames, consistent with age and use.
