About the Item

Set of 6 Antique French Renaissance Barley Twist Dining Chairs are the perfect answer for providing a charming Old World look for your dining enjoyment! Each features an amazingly crafted framework, which includes a backsplat carved with grape vines, a theme also used on the crown of the seatback, with a brace of clockwise counter-clockwise barley twist columns providing the upright support, each fitted with two plinths carved with rosettes, and topped with a turned finial. The comfortable seats are upholstered in expensive fabric, and framed on three sides with demilune gadrooning. Support is provided by the same style as the seatback, with rosettes adorning plinths, and barley twist columns creating the legs and cross stretchers.
