About the Item

Set of 6 antique Queen Anne Chestnut dining chairs are ideal for adding understated elegance for either formal or more casual dining settings. The ergonomically curved seatbacks with solid splats are sturdily made, and connect to a generously sized seat with upholstery that remains quite serviceable. A framework surrounds the seat creating a simple apron, whereupon the back supports continue in one piece to form the back legs, with the trademark Queen Anne form chosen for the front legs, tipped with club feet. Connected with an offset "H" stretcher consisting of turnings from solid wood, they provide grace, beauty, and will also provide enjoyment for many hundreds of meals to come! Circa early 1900s Each measures 35.5 H x 20 W x 20 D; seat 19 H.
