A set of 6 Mid Century Les Arcs chairs attributed to French architect and designer Charlotte Perriand. These chairs feature tubular chrome frames with stitched cognac leather seats and backs, which attach to the frames with leather straps and metal hardware. Unmarked. Sourced in France, 1970s. These chairs are documented in Charlotte Perriand: An Art of Living, McLeod, pg. 190-195 discuss Arc Mobilier Charlotte Perriand: A Life of Creation, Perriand, pg. 113-125 detail constructing and furnishing Les Arcs. Condition: Good overall vintage condition. The leather has a natural patina throughout and watermarks, as shown in photos. The chrome frames are in good condition with light scratches. One frame is slightly tarnished.
