About the Item
This stunning set of solid oak chairs was handcrafted in the Netherlands during the mid-20th century, around 1960. The chairs were constructed using traditional woodworking techniques, including mortise and tenon joints and half-lap joints. The seats feature a slightly recessed and rounded design, enhancing overall comfort. Made from European summer oak, the chairs were stained in a warm, light honey tone and finished with a satin lacquer for a subtle sheen.
There are six chairs in total, all of which have been carefully cleaned in our workshop. They are in excellent condition—clean, sturdy, and free of defects—making them ready for immediate use. These chairs offer modern comfort with a seat height of 17.9 inches, making them a practical yet stylish addition to any home. Combining classic craftsmanship with timeless design, these chairs bring a touch of mid-century elegance to any interior, while ensuring a comfortable seating experience for years to come.
