This elegant dining set of six chairs by Arnold Merckx for Arco hails from the 1980s, a period when Merckx was deeply involved in defining the modern Arco identity.
Each chair features solid wood legs and sculpted wooden armrests that highlight the natural warmth and craftsmanship of the material. The seats and backs are upholstered in rich black saddle leather, offering both durability and a luxurious touch. The oak wood is in a lovely condition with only some small but hardly noticeable wear underneath the handles of the armrests. The saddle leather is without any rips, tears or cuts and only on seat has some very small slightly more noticeable wear near the bottom of the seat as can be seen in the pics but overall in very nice vintage condition
