This beautifully preserved set of six dining chairs was designed by Rainer Daumiller and produced by Hirtshals Sawmill in Denmark during the 1970s. These iconic chairs are crafted entirely from solid pine, highlighting the organic warmth and natural grain of the wood—hallmarks of Scandinavian modern design.
Rainer Daumiller's design is inspired by the principles of functionality and nature, resulting in a form that feels both sculptural and approachable. Each chair features a smoothly rounded backrest and generous seat, ergonomically shaped for comfort and carved directly from the solid wood. The gently patinated surfaces and exposed knots further emphasize the chairs’ raw authenticity and rustic charm.
