Set of six 1960s ICONIC and rare tiger oak wood and woven rope seat chairs model 6200 by Robert and Trix Haussmann, famous designers from Zurich Switzerland. In excellent vintage condition, very sturdy and comfortable, with gorgeous rope work!
Ergonomic and very comfortable designer chairs made of stylish Oak wood, showing beautiful wood grain. These chairs feature rare dark tiger oak wood with the woven seats. This is a rare and sought after combination. We have seen these Swiss designer chairs used as accent chairs, side chairs, desk chairs, and dining chairs.
Six chairs are included in this set.
Robert and Trix were married architects and in Europe they are a postmodern sensation, becoming more and more rare to find.
This set of six chairs, model 6200, features oak wood and woven rope, and was designed by the acclaimed Swiss architects Robert and Trix Haussmann. Renowned for their postmodern influence in Europe, the Haussmanns' work is highly regarded, with a similar design showcased at the Zurich Design Museum.
