About the Item
Set of of 6 model 620 chairs designed in the mid-60s by Silvio Coppola for the historic luxury furniture brand Bernini.
This chair fully represents the style for which Bernini production is known throughout the world and which makes its pieces still unmistakable among the vast Italian production of the mid-twentieth century: fine materials such as solid wood and Italian leather, essential but never banal, artisanal and industrial workmanship that coexist happily within the same project.
The chairs, in turned solid walnut wood, whose legs, like the paws of an elephant, extend towards the end part, are designed by Silvio Coppola.
The style of these chairs is somewhat reminiscent of the Brazilian design of the mid-20th century with this essential wooden structure and the use of leather, informal in the backrest, consisting of a strip of cognac leather, more worked and comfortable in the padded seat, which presents a capitonnè workmanship.
