About the Item

Elegant set of eight French dining chairs in the Louis XVI style, dating to the early 20th century. The set includes a combination of two armchairs and six side chairs, all unified by their tall, shaped backs, finely molded frames, and classic neoclassical proportions. Each chair is crafted with carved frames featuring rosettes, fluted details, and tapering legs. The original painted and parcel gilt finish has softened beautifully over time to a pale, luminous patina that highlights the crisp carving without feeling overly formal. Newly upholstered in a neutral linen with traditional nailhead trim, the chairs offer both comfort and a timeless, versatile look.
