Curved Wood and Woven Cane, Excellent Vintage Condition
Designed by A. Caraceni and produced by Tagliabue in Italy during the 1970s, this refined set of four “Arcadia” dining chairs exemplifies the sculptural minimalism and warm materiality characteristic of Italian design from that era. Each chair features an architectural arched backrest — a distinctive semicircular element that gives the model its name and timeless geometric harmony.
The frames are crafted from solid and curved wood with a light honey-toned finish, providing a soft contrast to the natural woven cane seats. The combination of these organic materials results in a visually balanced design that feels both modernist and artisanal.
