About the Item
Fantastic set of four cigar leather art deco style club chairs or dining armchairs designed by Ralph Lauren and later monogramed by Christian Audigier (French 1958-2015). The chairs feature his signature on the front side and his monogram C.A. initials on the back. The seat is decorated with a crown in his signature Ed Hardy and Von Dutch style. The chairs are constructed from hardwood frames covered with cigar leather having brass tack nail head borders. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a distinctive square back and square arms. Weathered and worn with an intentionally distressed patina Provenance: This set of chairs is from Christian Audigier's estate in Hollywood, CA. Price is for the set of four. Arm height is 27"h.
