About the Item
Distinctive set of four dining chairs designed by Rose Tarlow having Fortuny fabric seats. Known as feather chairs the bespoke set has a custom lacquered finish. The frames were intentionally aged with a distressed patina on the lacquered gilt finish. The round seat backs feature a stylized feather design and the chairs are supported by splayed saber legs. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship from an estate in Beverly Hills, CA. Sold as a set of four.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully crafted with strong solid joinery. Intentionally distressed patina with fading, cracks, chips, scuffs and craquelure on the lacquered finish. Fabric is vintage but shows well and is presentable as seen in photos.
