About the Item

The Bola chair was designed in 1988 by Ron Kemnitzer for Fixtures Furniture Company and was winner of the Institute of Business Design (IBD) Gold Award. An extremely fun and practical chair, this set of six is a mix of two red, two blue, and two yellow. The chair's frame is powder-coated metal, the seat and back are brightly colored plastic molded to support the comfort of the user, and the design allows for stacking the chairs, which makes them great for multiple uses and easy storage. And, most charmingly, each chair's glide is a molded plastic ball that matches the seat and back. Fixtures was known for their durable products targeted toward contract furniture customers (e.g. schools, hospitals, corporate, government, etc.). In good vintage condition with light wear consistent with age and use. 21" x 22" x 31" each 17" seat height
