About the Item
Fantastic set of six dining chairs designed by John Hutton for Donghia. Bespoke chairs custom ordered with Fortuny upholstery in the Ashanti tribal pattern from Venice, Italy. The chairs feature a hardwood frame having a tall flat back that is open on the bottom. The generous seat is bowed in front and has bands of fabric on the border. Supported by unique octagonal tapered front legs. Each chair has a slightly different laid pattern of the Fortuny design with an African tribal motif. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship.
