About the Item
This set of mid twentieth century French dining chairs in the Louis XVI style includes four side chairs and two armchairs. They feature carved rosettes on the die joints and classic tapered fluted legs. The frames are painted in white, and the seats and backs are upholstered in a coral colored velvet and finished with nail head trim. The side chairs measure 36 inches high by 18 inches wide by 17.5 inches deep with a 19 inch high seat. The armchairs measure 36.5 inches high by 23 inches wide by 20.5 inches deep with an 18 inch high seat. c. 1940.
