About the Item
A Wonderful Set of Six Oak Art Deco and Kilim Dining Chairs. The rectangular back rest with inset shield and pierced triangular decoration is flanked with lozenge shaped detail. The kilim-covered seats are a standout feature, beautifully complemented by a studded finish. The chairs rest on bold block-form legs with a sleek ebonized relief at the front, hinting at the distinctive style of The Amsterdam School.
A very smart and stylish set of chairs that would also work well as hall or side chairs. Seat height 45 cm.
In good overall condition, with light wear consistent with age. We have tightened the webbing and finished the underside with fresh hessian.
