About the Item
Etienne Kohlmann was a French interior decorator and designer during the early to mid-20th century. This set of dining chairs was crafted in the 1930s, and its design and execution show how the aesthetic and functional dimensions were of equal importance for Kohlmann.
This set is all about the gorgeous wooden structure. The discreet joinery and seamless construction reflect the French emphasis on detail and quality, elevating the chairs beyond just function to objects of aesthetic value. In good vintage condition. Wear consistent with age and use. The chairs have recently been reconditioned and reupholstered in a premium fabric. Each of our items can be reupholstered by our in-house atelier in a fabric of choice. Due to the nature and age of the wood, the chairs may have some marks, scratches, and discolouration.
